Description
Shock shafts carry the piston through the oil and pass through the seals at the bottom of the shock body. Because they slide against those seals on every compression stroke, the shaft surface has to stay straight and unmarked. A bent or scratched shaft tears seals, leaks oil, and gives you damping that changes over the course of a run.
This Team Associated package, part number 21535, includes four shafts in the two lengths the car uses: two 3x37mm shafts and two 3x43mm shafts. That covers the front and rear shocks in a single order, so a full four shock rebuild can be done without a second purchase.
They fit the Reflex 14B, Reflex 14T, Reflex 14MT Monster Truck, Reflex 14B Ongaro, and Reflex 14B Buggy. As genuine Team Associated replacements these install into the stock shock assemblies with no modification. Shock shafts bend in hard crashes and wear gradually with use, making this a sensible package to keep with your rebuild supplies.
