The Team Associated ASC21482 TC28 Motor Mount holds the motor to the chassis and sets its position relative to the spur gear. That position determines your gear mesh, so a solid, accurately located mount is what keeps the pinion and spur engaged correctly under power. A mount that flexes or shifts lets mesh change mid run, which costs efficiency and wears gears quickly.
This mount is made for the Team Associated TC28 and bolts into the motor mounting position on that chassis. It is a direct replacement for the mount supplied with the car, matching the original hole pattern and motor location, so gearing and driveline alignment carry over unchanged and no modification is needed to fit it.
The motor mount also takes the brunt of any impact that reaches the middle of the car, and a cracked or distorted mount quietly ruins your mesh. Fitting a fresh one restores accurate gear engagement and consistent power delivery, and keeping a spare on the shelf means a hard crash does not cost you the rest of the day.
