Description
The Team Associated ASC21477 TC28 CVD Assembly Set provides constant velocity driveshafts for the TC28 chassis. CVDs transmit power from the differential outdrives to the wheel hubs while allowing the suspension to move through its full travel and the wheels to steer. Compared with a simple universal joint, a constant velocity design delivers power more smoothly through steering angle, which keeps acceleration predictable when the front wheels are turned.
These assemblies are built for the Team Associated TC28 and install into the drivetrain of that platform. They are a direct replacement for the driveshafts used on the car, matching the original length and pin locations, so installation is a straightforward swap with no modification needed and no extra hardware to source.
Driveshafts are a common wear item on any 1/28 scale touring car, since the pins, bones and axles absorb every bit of drivetrain shock from throttle hits and impacts. Replacing worn CVDs eliminates the driveline slop that costs you punch off the corner and keeps power delivery consistent lap after lap.
