Description
This steering bellcrank set replaces the bellcrank assembly on the Team Associated TC28. The bellcranks sit between the servo and the steering links, translating servo output into equal left and right movement at the front wheels and setting the Ackermann geometry that governs how the inside and outside wheels turn relative to each other.
Steering precision lives and dies here. As the bellcrank posts and pivots wear, play creeps into the system and the front wheels no longer respond immediately to small inputs, which makes the car feel vague on turn in and hard to place consistently through a corner. A hard front impact can also crack or bend a bellcrank, leaving the steering off center or unequal side to side.
This set is specific to the TC28 chassis and installs as a direct replacement for the original assembly, using your existing servo horn, links and hardware. Fresh bellcranks restore tight, slop-free steering response and predictable Ackermann geometry at both ends of the wheel travel.
