Description
This belt set supplies the drive belts for the Team Associated TC28. In a belt driven touring car the belts carry every bit of power from the motor and spur gear to the front and rear differentials, so their condition determines how efficiently the car puts power down and how well the four wheels stay coupled together.
Belts are wear items. Over time the teeth round off, the belt stretches and it begins to skip under hard acceleration, which shows up as inconsistent forward bite and a car that feels like it is losing drive out of corners. Debris pulled into the belt path can also nick or cut a belt, and a belt that lets go mid-run ends the heat immediately.
This set is made specifically for the TC28 platform and is a direct replacement for the original belts, matching the factory length and tooth pitch so tension and pulley alignment stay correct. Replacing belts as routine maintenance keeps drivetrain efficiency high and prevents a failure at the worst possible moment.
