Description
The Team Associated ASC21452 is a replacement short course body for the 1:28 scale SC28, supplied painted in the General Tire RTR scheme. It fits the SC28 and the SC28 General Tire truck.
The body defines the SC28's short course truck appearance and also does protective work, keeping dirt off the chassis, electronics, and battery and taking the impacts of crashes and rollovers on their behalf. Because it arrives painted, there is nothing to prepare before fitting it: it goes straight onto the truck's stock body posts as a direct replacement for the factory shell.
Bodies wear out faster than almost anything else on an off-road truck. They scuff as the truck slides, crack around the mounting post holes, and eventually wear through at the wheel arches, and a shell in that condition no longer shields what sits underneath it. Fitting a fresh one brings back both the finished appearance and the protection the original provided when the truck was new.
