As a factory-matched part, it fits the DR28 and DR28 Lucas Oil chassis variants using the existing body posts and mounts, so no trimming or drilling is needed before installation. The body arrives pre-trimmed with its drag racing profile already shaped, so drivers only need to transfer body clips from the old shell to get back on the track. This is a stock replacement rather than a performance upgrade, making it a simple way to refresh a well-used DR28 without replacing the whole vehicle.
