Dropping your front shock mounting height slightly lowers the front-end center of gravity, which racers use as a tuning tool to adjust weight transfer and front-end grip characteristics.
Factory Team shock towers like this one give you tuning options beyond what the stock tower offers, letting you dial in your RC10B7.1's front-end feel for specific track conditions or personal driving style. This is the same specification used by Associated's own factory race team.
