Description
The Spektrum SPMA9700 Aircraft Telemetry Airspeed Indicator adds true airspeed readings to your Spektrum telemetry system. Instead of guessing how fast your model is moving through the air, you get live airspeed data on your compatible Spektrum transmitter while you fly.
The sensor uses a pitot tube to measure the speed of the air flowing past the aircraft, which is the number that actually matters for flight. Ground speed from GPS changes with the wind, but airspeed tells you how close you are to a stall on approach or how hard you are pushing the airframe on a high-speed pass.
This makes the SPMA9700 useful for sport pilots dialing in landing speeds, scale pilots matching realistic flight speeds, and anyone flying jets or fast models who wants to keep an eye on structural limits. You can set alerts on your transmitter for minimum or maximum airspeed.
