Description:

The SkyRC LapWiz is a smart RC lap-timing and race-performance system designed for personal practice, club racing, organized events, and trackside competition. Using high-precision infrared technology, LapWiz accurately records lap times while providing real-time rankings, driver profiles, session history, performance analysis, and race-management features through the SkyRC mobile app.

The included T01 standard transponder mounts inside your RC vehicle and connects to a standard receiver port for power. Each time the vehicle passes the timing decoder, the system records the lap and displays the results on your connected smartphone. The decoder features Bluetooth connectivity and can operate in standalone mode without an internet connection. Cloud features are also available for backing up records, sharing results, and managing racing events.

LapWiz supports Practice, Qualifying, Race, Free Run, and Shadow Run modes. Shadow Run allows drivers to compete against a previous best lap or saved session, making it easier to evaluate setup changes, improve consistency, and lower lap times. The included adjustable tripod and magnetic sun visor help provide reliable placement and detection for indoor or outdoor tracks.
