The Losi LOS3958 is a pack of ten set screws sized M4 x 5mm with a cup point design, made from strong steel alloy for durability. Set screws thread fully into a component and use their point to lock onto a shaft or mating part, commonly securing collars, gears, or wheel hexes against rotation or slippage. The cup point style bites into the mating surface for a firmer, more secure hold than a flat point, which helps prevent loosening from the vibration and repeated impacts typical of RC driving. Manufactured to genuine Losi factory specifications, this hardware functions as a direct replacement for maintenance or rebuild work, restoring proper clamping force where original set screws have backed out, stripped, or gone missing. The steel alloy build resists deformation under torque, helping preserve a clean hex socket for reliable tool engagement over repeated adjustments.
