Description
These 32mm taper shock pistons are a performance upgrade for the Losi 5IVE-T 3.0, engineered specifically for the new larger 32mm Big Bore shocks used on that platform. Each piston uses a tapered hole design rather than straight-drilled ports, which improves oil pack and produces a noticeably faster rebound compared to standard pistons. That translates to better bottom-out resistance on landings and more consistent damping control across rough terrain and high-speed jumps. The pistons are sized for 2.0mm shock shafts and feature a 6-hole pattern for tuning oil flow. Four pistons are included in the package, enough to fully outfit a set of shocks or keep spares on hand for tuning experiments. Because these are engineered to match the larger 32mm shock body diameter introduced with the 5IVE-T 3.0, they are not a generic universal piston but a platform-specific upgrade. Installing a fresh, precisely sized piston also restores consistent shock action on a truck with worn or mismatched internals, making this a straightforward way to dial in damping performance.
