Description
These aluminum rear hubs are a performance upgrade for Losi's 1/12-scale NASCAR GROM race vehicles, replacing the stock plastic hubs at the rear axle with a stiffer, more durable metal component. Machined from aluminum and finished with a durable anodized coating, the hubs resist the flex that plastic hubs can develop under hard cornering loads and repeated contact typical of oval racing, helping the rear axle assembly hold its geometry more consistently lap after lap. That added rigidity translates into steadier rear-end handling and more predictable traction as the car transitions through banked turns, since the hubs are less likely to distort under load the way stock plastic parts can over time. Because they are dimensioned to match the factory rear axle assembly, they install using the same bearings, axles, and hardware already on the vehicle, with no additional fitting required. This is a durability and handling upgrade over the stock hubs rather than a routine wear-item replacement, aimed at racers pushing their GROM harder or dealing with recurring hub failures. Two aluminum rear hubs are included in the package, one for each side of the rear axle.
