This shock body and cap set is a genuine Losi replacement for the standard dampening shock assemblies on the LMT 2.0 monster truck platform. Each package includes two complete 58mm shock bodies with caps, matched specifically to the dampening-style shocks rather than the internal spring version, so double check which shock type your truck runs before ordering. Shock bodies take a beating from rocks, rollovers, and hard landings, and once a body cracks, strips a thread, or loses its sealing surface at the cap, the shock will weep oil and lose consistent damping no matter how new the seals and pistons inside are. Swapping in a fresh body and cap gives you a solid, properly sealed foundation to rebuild the shock around, restoring smooth, predictable suspension action for aggressive bashing and jumps. This is a direct-fit factory part engineered specifically for LMT 2.0 dampening shocks, so no modification is needed for installation.
