Description
This rear transmission case set houses the rear gearbox internals on any 5IVE gas-based Losi model, replacing a cracked or worn case with the same durable, proven design used at the factory.
Molded from strong composite material, the case set holds up to the torque and vibration a full-size gas truck puts through the drivetrain. Swapping in a fresh case is the fix for stripped mounting bosses or hairline cracks that let gear oil leak or internals shift out of alignment.
A tight, properly sealed case also helps keep gear oil where it belongs, protecting the gears inside from running dry and wearing prematurely.
