Losi LOS-4163 Rear Diff Bearing Insert
Description
This rear differential and transmission bearing insert keeps the internal gears properly aligned on any 5IVE-based gas Losi model, replacing an insert that has worn enough to let the diff or trans gears drift out of true mesh.
Cast from a strong alloy material, the insert holds its shape under the sustained heat and load a gas-powered drivetrain generates. Correct gear alignment reduces whining, premature gear wear, and the added drag that comes from a misaligned diff or transmission.
Keeping gear alignment tight also reduces the load spikes that lead to stripped teeth, so this small part protects more expensive drivetrain components downstream.
