Description
This 20T pinion gear is a replacement drivetrain part for the Losi 5IVE-TG 3.0, machined from heat-treated alloy steel for long-term wear resistance under the load of a full-size gas 5IVE platform. The tooth profile is cut to mesh cleanly with the truck's spur gear, so power transfer stays smooth and quiet instead of grinding or slipping under throttle.
Because pinion size directly sets your overall gearing, swapping to this 20T option lets you fine-tune acceleration and top speed for your engine and track conditions. The heat-treated steel construction resists the stripping and rounding that softer pinions suffer over a season of hard running, and the included mounting hardware gets you back on the gear mesh in minutes.
