Description
This 43-tooth rear differential ring gear is an optional gearing upgrade for the Losi 5IVE-TG 3.0, built to be paired with the 12-tooth pinion (LOS-3647) to open up gearing headroom for larger tires. Machined from high-grade alloy steel, it holds up to the torque load a full-size gas 5IVE puts through the differential.
Running larger tires changes the effective final drive ratio, and this ring gear is sized to compensate so the truck keeps the acceleration and speed characteristics you tuned for. It's a targeted upgrade for anyone stepping up tire size rather than a routine maintenance replacement.
