Description
This is the front upper link and lateral rod for the Kyosho Rock Force 2.2 Jimny scale crawler.
These two rods do different jobs at the same end of the truck. The upper link locates the front axle fore and aft and controls how it rotates under load, setting the pinion angle and how the front end reacts when you climb. The lateral rod, sometimes called a panhard bar, stops the axle sliding side to side relative to the chassis, which is what keeps the truck tracking straight instead of wandering as the suspension articulates.
Both are exposed parts on a crawler and both take direct contact with rock and ledge. A bent rod is easy to miss and hard to diagnose, because it shifts the axle position slightly and the truck simply stops behaving the way it used to.
These are genuine Kyosho replacements made to the original lengths, so the front axle returns to its designed position without you needing to re-measure anything. Kyosho lists this part for the Rock Force 2.2 Jimny kit and states a quantity of one.
