A set of four dish wheels for Kyosho's 1/8 scale Inferno buggies.
The dish pattern is the standard choice for 1/8 off-road racing because a solid face is considerably stiffer than a spoked wheel. That stiffness matters more than it sounds: a 1/8 buggy generates enormous cornering loads through the sidewall, and a wheel that flexes under load lets the tire roll over on itself, which makes the car feel vague and inconsistent through long sweepers. A solid dish also keeps rocks and dirt from packing into the wheel where they unbalance it at speed.
Wheels are consumables in this class. They take kerb strikes, hard landings on the rim edge, and the abuse of being pried off when you regrue tires, and a cracked or out-of-round wheel will not let a tire seat evenly.
Kyosho lists these across a broad range: Inferno MP10 and MP10 Spec A, MP9 and MP9 TKI2 through TKI4, MP9e electric variants, Inferno NEO 3.0, NEO Race Spec, Inferno VE Race Spec and the DBX VE 2.0. Four wheels supplied, tires and inserts not included.
