Description
This is the front lower suspension holder for the Kyosho Inferno MP9, in the front of the two front positions, finished in gunmetal.
Suspension holders are the blocks that clamp the front lower arm hinge pins to the chassis, and they come as a front and rear pair at each end of the car. They are geometry parts rather than simple brackets. Where the holder positions the inner pivot sets the roll centre, the anti-squat and the kick-up angle, which between them determine how the car responds to throttle, how much it rolls in a corner and how it behaves over bumps. Manufacturers sell them in different offsets precisely so racers can change those characteristics without buying new arms.
They also take real structural load, since everything the front suspension generates passes through the hinge pins into these blocks.
This is the front holder of the front pair specifically. The rear position is a separate part number and they are not interchangeable, so confirm which you need. The C designation is Kyosho's third revision of this part, superseding the earlier IF439 and IF439B. It fits the Inferno MP9 line including the MP9 TKI4 V2 and MP9e Evo. V2.
