Description
This is the spacer set for the rear hub carrier on Kyosho's Inferno MP9, containing eight spacers in three thicknesses.
These spacers sit at the rear hub carrier and set where the carrier, and therefore the wheel, sits relative to the chassis. That makes them a genuine tuning component rather than just shims to fill a gap. Moving the rear wheel position changes the wheelbase and shifts how much weight transfers to the rear under acceleration, which affects both rear traction on power and how willingly the car rotates into a corner.
Having a range of thicknesses is what makes the adjustment usable. Dealers list the set as two 5mm, four 2mm and two 1mm spacers, which lets you build up the exact standoff you want in small increments rather than jumping between fixed options.
They are also easy to lose during a rebuild, and a car reassembled with the spacers on the wrong side or in the wrong order will handle differently left to right.
This is the set for the IF422B revision carrier. Dealers list fitment across the Inferno MP9, MP9 TKI2 and TKI3, MP9e and MP9e TKI.
