Description
This is the decal set for the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione bodyshell on Kyosho's Fazer VE-X.
On a licensed scale body the decals are most of what makes it look like the real car. The shell provides the shape, but the liveries, badging, sponsor markings and detail lines that identify a specific car all come from the sheet. A body without them reads as a generic shape rather than the car it is meant to be.
They are also consumable in a way the shell is not. Decals lift at the edges after repeated cleaning, they scratch, they fade with UV exposure, and fuel and cleaning solvents attack the adhesive. A shell that is still structurally fine can look tired purely because the graphics have gone.
Replacing the sheet is considerably cheaper than replacing the body, and it is the obvious move if you have polished out a scuff or repaired a shell you otherwise want to keep running.
This is the genuine Kyosho sheet cut for this specific body, so the graphics line up with the shell's panel lines rather than needing to be positioned by eye.
