Description
Kyosho BL54 is the side plate for the Blizzard SR. The side plates form the outer walls of the track assembly, holding the shafts and road wheels in line and keeping the track running where it should.
If a side plate cracks or bows, the track loses its alignment. The symptom is usually a track that walks toward one edge and eventually throws itself off, which people tend to blame on track tension before checking whether the plate holding everything square is still straight.
Because it is a structural part rather than a moving one, it is easy to overlook during a strip-down. Worth inspecting whenever you have the track off. Kyosho lists it as a spare part for the Blizzard SR.
