Description
This Axial Universal Axle Set is a replacement set of universal-joint axle shafts built for the AF16P portal axles on the AXP8 Gilamon 2.2. These axles transmit power from the portal gearbox to the wheels while allowing the steering and suspension articulation the portal axle design is known for, and they're a common wear item on rigs that see heavy technical crawling.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for the AF16P portal axle system, it's a direct-fit replacement using the axle's existing connection points, without requiring any other driveline modifications. It's the right choice for replacing a worn, bent, or broken universal axle rather than rebuilding the entire portal axle assembly.
This is a functional replacement part rather than a performance upgrade, intended for Gilamon owners doing routine drivetrain maintenance or repairing damage from hard trail use. The set includes the universal axle shafts needed for a standard replacement; portal housings and gears are sold separately.
