Description
This Axial Portal Box, Front is a direct-fit replacement portal gear housing for the front AF16P axle on the AXP8 Gilamon 2.2, containing the portal reduction gears that give the axle its extra ground clearance. It's the correct option for repairing a cracked or damaged portal box without replacing the entire front axle assembly.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for the AF16P portal design, it's a direct-fit replacement that matches the factory housing dimensions and mounting points exactly, so reassembly is straightforward using the axle's existing portal gears and hardware. Portal boxes see concentrated stress at the wheel end of the axle, making them a common wear or impact-damage point on rigs that crawl hard.
This is a functional repair part rather than a performance upgrade, intended for Gilamon owners doing front portal axle maintenance or repairing damage from a hard hit. One front portal box is included per package.
