Description
This Axial Steering Axle, Assembled is a complete, pre-built AF16P portal steering axle designed to add 4-wheel steering capability to the AXP8 Gilamon 2.2. Coming fully assembled, it saves significant build time compared to sourcing and assembling individual axle components separately, and it's built to the same specifications as the Gilamon's factory front axle.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for the AF16P portal design, it installs using the vehicle's existing axle mounting points and driveline connections, making it a practical option for converting a 2WS Gilamon to 4WS or replacing a damaged rear axle assembly. Four-wheel steering gives noticeably tighter turning radius and improved maneuverability on technical, tight-space trails compared to standard front-only steering.
This is a functional drivetrain upgrade rather than a cosmetic part, aimed at drivers who want the added maneuverability of 4-wheel steering on their Gilamon. One complete assembled steering axle is included per package.
