Description
The ARRMA ARAC9094 Shock Parts O-Ring Set is a genuine factory replacement service kit for the big bore shock absorbers fitted to ARRMA 4x4 BLX 4S vehicles.
This set brings together the consumable internals of a shock rebuild in one package. The O-rings are the critical component: they seal around the shock shaft and hold the oil inside under pressure. ARRMA specify the O-ring material carefully because the compound has to stay pliable across a wide temperature range, resist swelling in shock oil, and slide against the shaft without tearing. A hardened or nicked O-ring is the single most common cause of a leaking shock.
Alongside the seals, the set includes composite shock absorber parts moulded from tough material for durability, and a selection of spacers. Those spacers are a tuning tool rather than just hardware. Adding or removing them changes the shock's internal limit and lets you adjust ride height, which alters the vehicle's centre of gravity and how much suspension travel is available before bottoming out.
Having the whole set on the shelf means a leaking shock can be rebuilt properly in one sitting rather than being topped up and put off. These are direct factory replacements requiring no modification.
