The ARRMA ARAC3479 Body Post Set is a genuine factory replacement set of body posts, also catalogued under ARRMA part number AR320453.
Body posts are the vertical mounts that rise from the chassis and hold the body shell in position, secured at the top by body clips. They carry the entire shell, which means every time the vehicle rolls, lands on its roof, or takes a hard hit, the posts absorb that force rather than the body itself.
That makes them a genuine consumable. Posts snap at the base, bend out of alignment, or wear elongated clip holes over time. Once a hole has widened, the clip no longer holds the shell tightly and the body starts shifting during runs, which chews up the shell around the mounting points and can eventually let it come off entirely at speed. A bent post also puts the shell on an angle, so it no longer sits down properly on the chassis or clears the tires through suspension travel.
Replacing the posts is quick and restores correct body fitment. This is a direct factory replacement that installs in the stock mounting locations with no modification or drilling required.
