Description
The ARRMA ARA723306 is an M3x6mm cap head screw, used as small fastening hardware throughout ARRMA vehicles including the Kraton 6S platform.
Cap head screws have a cylindrical head with a deep hex socket, and that depth is the whole point. A deep socket gives the driver more engagement than a shallow flat or button head, which means the screw can be torqued down firmly without the tool camming out and rounding the drive. That makes cap heads the preferred choice wherever a fastener needs to be properly tight in a small size.
At M3x6mm this is a short, fine fastener used in tightly packed assemblies where there is no room for anything longer. Screws of this size appear in shock caps, gearbox housings, servo and electronics mounting, and similar locations. They are also the easiest hardware on the vehicle to lose, since they will vanish into carpet or grass the moment they are dropped.
Small screws strip more readily than large ones simply because there is less material in the socket, and the correct 2.0mm or 2.5mm driver in good condition matters more here than anywhere else on the vehicle.
This is a direct factory replacement manufactured to the correct thread specification and installs in the stock locations with no modification.
