Description
The ARRMA ARA722410 Flat Head Screw set contains four M4x10mm flat head screws for ARRMA vehicles.
At M4 diameter these are structural fasteners, and at 10mm they are short, meant for joints where the screw threads into a part directly behind the surface rather than passing through a deep stack of components. Screws in this size are commonly found securing skid plates, chassis hardware, mounting blocks, and brace components.
The flat head profile is specified where the fastener must finish flush. The tapered underside seats into a countersunk hole, pulling the screw into alignment as it tightens and leaving the head level with the surrounding surface. On a skid plate or chassis rail that is not cosmetic, it is functional: a raised head would drag on the ground, snag on obstacles, and take impacts directly.
Made from strong and durable steel with precision manufactured threads for consistent fit and fast servicing. Because flat heads have a shallower socket than a cap head of the same size, they are more prone to rounding if a worn driver is used, so replacing them once the drive begins to slip is worthwhile.
These are direct replacements for the kit supplied items and install with no modification. Four screws are included.
