Description
The ARRMA ARA721437 is an M4x37mm button head screw, used as long-reach chassis and suspension hardware across ARRMA vehicles including the Kraton 6S platform.
At 37mm this is one of the longer M4 screws in the ARRMA hardware range, used where a fastener has to pass through multiple stacked components before threading home. Long screws like these typically secure shock towers, bulkheads, brace assemblies, and mounting blocks where several parts are clamped together as a single structure.
Length brings its own failure mode. A long screw has more shank exposed to bending load, so a hard impact that would simply loosen a short fastener can bend a long one. A bent screw binds in its bore, which makes the components it holds sit slightly out of alignment and makes removal difficult, sometimes damaging the threads in the part it was securing.
The button head profile keeps the head low with no sharp edges, and the hex socket drive gives good tool engagement so the screw can be torqued properly without rounding out.
This is a direct factory replacement manufactured to the correct thread specification and installs in the stock location with no modification. Long fasteners in these sizes are not always easy to source locally, so keeping spares on hand is practical.
