The ARRMA ARA550111 dBoots Back-Flip Big Block MT tire set is supplied pre-mounted and factory glued, intended for the 1/5 scale ARRMA Outcast and Kraton 8S platforms.
The Back-Flip Big Block uses a multi-surface chunky tread pattern designed to find traction across a wide range of conditions rather than being optimised for one surface. Large, widely spaced blocks dig into loose dirt and grass and clear themselves of packed material, while still presenting enough contact area to behave predictably on hardpack and pavement. For a 1/5 scale vehicle carrying real weight and power, that broad usability matters more than a specialised compound would.
Buying pre-mounted saves the most tedious job in RC maintenance. Mounting large scale tires by hand means seating the bead evenly all the way around, working glue into the full circumference without leaving gaps, and waiting for it to cure before the vehicle can run. A gap in the bead on a 1/5 scale tire will let go at speed. A factory glued set removes that risk entirely and arrives ready to bolt on.
These are direct replacements for the tires fitted to the vehicle from the factory. One pair of mounted assemblies is included.
