Description
The ARRMA ARA412001 is a genuine factory replacement body shell for the ARRMA Granite GROM, the 1/18 scale monster truck in the GROM range.
Small scale does not mean an easy life for a body shell. The GROM is built to be run in tighter spaces than its larger siblings, which in practice means more contact with kerbs, table legs, skirting boards, and other hard indoor and backyard obstacles. The shell absorbs all of it, and the mounting holes elongate over time until the body no longer sits tight on the posts.
Because the body is such a large part of what makes a monster truck look right, replacing a cracked or heavily scuffed shell restores the vehicle's appearance more completely than any other single part. It is also the simplest way to give a used truck a fresh look without touching the chassis.
The shell arrives factory finished, so there is no masking, spraying, curing, or decal work required before fitting.
This is a direct factory replacement for the Granite GROM. The post holes and cutouts align with the stock mounting locations, and the body clears the suspension and tires through full travel with no trimming or drilling needed.
