Description
This ARRMA shock cap set provides four replacement upper shock caps for ARRMA 4x4-series shock absorbers, and is also fitted as a standard part on newer 223S platform vehicles including the Vorteks Mega 550 and Quake 223S. The shock cap seals the top of the shock body and anchors the upper mounting point — a cracked cap leaks oil, and once the oil escapes the shock stops damping entirely.
Each cap is molded from tough composite material with precision-cut threads that seat squarely on the shock body for a reliable oil-tight seal. Fresh caps are the standard fix during any shock rebuild where the originals show stress marks around the mounting hole — the cap takes the full suspension load at its mounting eye, making it a natural fatigue point on hard-driven trucks.
With four caps in the pack, one purchase services a full set of shocks during a rebuild session.
