Description
This black anodized ARRMA aluminum front suspension mount is the direct replacement for the kit-supplied item on the 1/10 2WD 223S platforms. The front suspension mount anchors the inner hinge pins that the front lower arms pivot on — it sets the front arm geometry, and because it sits at the leading edge of the chassis it takes real load in every head-on impact.
Machined from aluminum rather than molded composite, the mount holds the hinge pins precisely without flexing or wallowing, keeping the front suspension geometry consistent through hard cornering and repeated landings. A worn or impact-damaged mount lets the pins shift, and the front end's camber and caster wander with them — the truck stops tracking straight and steering response goes vague.
The black anodized finish resists corrosion and wear at the pin bores while matching the factory look under the chassis.
Fitment covers the ARRMA Gorgon and Vorteks Mega 550 platforms among the 223S 2WD family. The package includes one aluminum front suspension mount.
