Description
The ARRMA ARA320770 Rear Lower Skid/Gearbox Mount is the factory replacement rear underside protection and gearbox mounting component for the 1/10 scale ARRMA Gorgon 4X2 MEGA monster truck. This single piece does double duty: it locates the rear gearbox in the chassis while acting as the skid surface that takes the scrapes and impacts aimed at the rear drivetrain.
On a 2WD monster truck that spends its life pulling wheelies and landing rear-first, the rear skid is one of the hardest-working parts on the vehicle. Grinding it down is part of normal Gorgon life, and because the same part supports the gearbox, replacing a worn or cracked one keeps the drivetrain solidly mounted and protected. This genuine ARRMA component matches the factory geometry exactly, so the gearbox alignment and mounting hardware go back together precisely as designed.
