Description
The ARRMA ARA320746 Composite Chassis SWB is the factory replacement chassis in short wheelbase configuration for the 1/18 scale ARRMA Granite Grom. As the backbone of the entire truck, the chassis carries every other component — gearboxes, suspension, electronics, and body — so a straight, solid chassis is the foundation of how the Grom drives.
Molded from tough composite material for long-lasting durability during extreme RC action, this chassis is precision manufactured for a secure, reliable fit with all the stock components. ARRMA strategically added extra material in high-stress areas to increase durability where the chassis takes the most punishment, and the design integrates the lower gearbox housings and lower suspension mounts directly into the chassis plate, which keeps the drivetrain rigid and simplifies assembly.
Even a truck as tough as the Grom can tweak a chassis after enough curb strikes and full-speed encounters with the furniture. This direct replacement restores the factory geometry exactly, so suspension alignment and gear mesh go back to spec without any modification or fitting work.
