Description
This ARRMA rear lower skid plate is the replacement underbody armor for the 1/10 2WD platforms. The rear lower skid takes the worst ground contact on the truck — it drags on every hard wheelie, scrapes over curbs and rocks, and shields the rear of the chassis and gearbox from direct impact.
The skid plate is molded in black from ARRMA's tough composite material for long-lasting durability, with precision molded mounting points that bolt straight to the factory chassis locations. Because it's designed to be sacrificial, it wears through faster than nearly any other part on a hard-driven 2WD truck — which is exactly why ARRMA sells it as an inexpensive standalone piece.
Replacing a ground-down skid before it wears through is the whole point: a few dollars of composite protects the chassis and transmission case behind it. Wheelie-happy drivers should treat this as a consumable and keep a spare in the pit box.
Fitment covers the ARRMA 1/10 2WD platforms including the Vorteks, Fury, Gorgon, and Quake. The package includes one rear lower skid plate.
