Description
This ARRMA aluminum gearbox set is the premium metal replacement for the composite gearbox housings on the Talion 6S EXB and compatible 6S BLX platform trucks. The gearbox housing holds the diff and input gears in precise alignment — and under repeated 6S shock loads, composite housings can flex enough to let gear mesh open up momentarily, which is how teeth get stripped.
Machined from aluminum, this set holds gear alignment rigidly no matter the load, protecting the gears inside while also shedding drivetrain heat far better than plastic. For an EXB-grade truck built around metal upgrades, it completes the driveline's structural core.
It pairs naturally with the aluminum center diff bearing holder (ARA311189) for a fully reinforced center section.
