Description
This ARRMA slipper shaft is the replacement red anodized aluminum shaft at the heart of the slipper clutch assembly on the 1/10 2WD 223S platforms. The slipper shaft carries the spur gear, slipper hubs, and pads, transferring drive from the motor into the transmission — and because it takes the full twisting load of every launch, a shaft with worn flats or damaged threads makes the whole clutch assembly loose and inconsistent.
The shaft is precision machined from aluminum for accurate fit of the slipper components, and the red anodized finish resists wear at the contact surfaces. A true, snug-fitting shaft keeps the slipper pads square and the spur gear running concentric, which is the foundation of a clutch that holds its setting instead of chattering or drifting as heat builds.
This is the economical rebuild path when servicing a tired slipper: replace the shaft along with the hub and plate set rather than buying the complete assembled unit.
Fitment covers the ARRMA Fury and Gorgon 1/10 2WD platforms. The package includes one slipper shaft.
