Description
This ARRMA gear cover is the replacement transmission cover for the 1/10 2WD platforms. The gear cover shields the spur gear and slipper assembly from the debris the rear tires throw directly at them — rocks, sand, and grass that would otherwise ride between the spur and pinion and strip teeth in seconds.
The cover is molded from tough composite material with precision-formed mounting points that snap and screw into the factory chassis locations for a secure, rattle-free fit. Because the cover sits low behind the transmission, it takes scrapes and impacts constantly; a cracked cover with a chunk missing leaves the spur gear exposed exactly where it's most vulnerable.
Drivers who pop the cover frequently for slipper adjustments and gear mesh changes eventually wear out the mounting tabs — a fresh cover restores the tight factory seal that keeps grit out of the drivetrain.
Fitment covers the ARRMA 1/10 2WD platforms including the Vorteks, Fury, Gorgon, and Quake. The package includes one gear cover.
