Description
This ARRMA 12mm wheel hex set provides four plastic wheel hexes for GROM platform trucks. The wheel hex is the small hexagonal adapter that transfers drive torque from the axle to the wheel — four of them do this job full-time, on every axle, every run.
All four hexes are molded from durable composite to the 12mm standard, seating precisely between the axle pin and the wheel for slop-free power transfer. Worn hexes round off gradually, letting the wheel rock on the axle — felt as vibration and a vague, loose drivetrain sensation before anything actually fails.
Plastic hexes are the standard-duty replacement; for hard running, ARRMA also offers 12mm metal hex sets in Red (ARA-2982), Blue (ARA-3116), Purple (ARA-3117), Green (ARA-3118), and Black (ARA-3276) as the durability upgrade.
Fitment is the ARRMA GROM platform including the Quake GROM. The package includes four 12mm plastic wheel hexes.
