Description
This ARRMA set provides the front and rear composite upper gearbox covers with integrated shock towers for the Infraction 223S platform. These parts do double duty: they seal the tops of the gearboxes against dirt and debris while carrying the upper shock mounting points — taking suspension loads directly into the gearbox structure.
Both front and rear pieces are included, molded from tough composite material with precision molded mounting points that bolt directly to the factory locations. Because the shock tower area is what touches down first in a rollover, these covers are among the most impact-exposed structural parts on the truck.
A cracked tower changes shock geometry and lets the mount flex under load; a cracked cover lets grit into the gears. Replacing the front and rear as a set after a hard season restores solid shock mounting at both ends in one job.
