Description
This pre-assembled ARRMA OLC (Over Load Coupling) transmission protector comes built around a 50-tooth 0.8 MOD metal spur gear, ready to install on compatible ARRMA models. It solves the metal-spur dilemma: a metal spur won't strip, but that means shock loads travel deeper into the transmission — the OLC puts a protective fuse back into the system.
The coupling is designed to give way momentarily under extreme shock load — the traction snap when airborne wheels touch down at full throttle, the sudden jam of debris — absorbing the torque spike before it reaches gears, diffs, and driveshafts. Under normal driving it transfers power solidly.
Arriving assembled with the metal spur already fitted, installation is a straight swap onto the transmission with no setup guesswork.
Fitment is compatible ARRMA models using the 50T 0.8 MOD spur, including the Infraction 3S platform — confirm against your exploded parts diagram. The package includes one assembled OLC transmission protector with metal spur gear.
