Description
This ARRMA metal spur gear delivers 50 teeth in 0.8 MOD pitch — the durable upgrade over molded plastic spurs for compatible ARRMA drivetrains. The spur is the first gear in the driveline, taking every bit of motor power, and it's traditionally the sacrificial part that strips its teeth under shock load.
Machined from metal, this spur shrugs off the impacts and abrupt shock loads that shred plastic spurs — the hard landings and traction snaps that spike torque through the drivetrain. For trucks that keep eating spur gears, moving to metal ends the cycle.
The trade-off worth knowing: with a metal spur, the gear is no longer the fuse in the system, so pairing it with the OLC transmission protector (ARA-2647) keeps the driveline protected while the spur lasts.
Fitment is compatible ARRMA models using a 50T 0.8 MOD spur, including the Infraction 3S platform — confirm against your exploded parts diagram. The package includes one metal 50T spur gear.
