Description
These ARRMA threaded shock collars in black fit compatible ARRMA threaded-body shocks and are supplied as a pair for ride height adjustment and service. The collar threads onto the shock body and sets spring preload — turn it down to raise the truck, up to lower it, with fine, repeatable adjustment on both shocks of an axle.
Collars are handled every time ride height gets set or springs get swapped, so the threads and the collar body see steady wear — and they're also the part that grinds along the ground when the chassis bottoms hard. A cracked or stripped collar can't hold its setting, letting ride height creep mid-run.
Replacing collars as a pair keeps preload adjustment identical side to side, which keeps the truck sitting level and handling symmetrically.
