Description
This ARRMA composite top deck is the replacement upper chassis plate for GROM platform trucks built on the 176mm chassis. The top deck spans the chassis from above, tying the front and rear gearbox structures together and giving the whole platform its torsional stiffness — the difference between a truck that steers precisely and one that flexes vaguely through corners.
Molded from tough composite material, the deck holds its shape through the landings and rollovers a GROM collects daily, while all factory mounting points are precision molded for a direct bolt-on installation.
Like the chassis below it, the top deck accumulates stress cracks around its screw bosses after enough hard hits — and a cracked deck lets the chassis twist, changing how the truck handles. A fresh deck restores the tight, connected feel.
Fitment is ARRMA GROM platform vehicles using the 176mm chassis, including the Quake GROM. The package includes one 176mm composite top deck.
