Description
These high-quality ARRMA shock caps provide replacement parts for kit-supplied items on the Vorteks 223S platform, finished in black. The shock cap seals the top of the damper, retains the shock oil, and carries the upper mounting point — it's the part that takes the direct hit whenever the shock tower area contacts the ground in a rollover.
The caps are molded from tough composite material for long-lasting performance, with precision molded threads that seal cleanly against the shock body. A cracked cap is the classic slow shock failure: the damper starts weeping oil, damping fades run by run, and the truck gradually gets bouncy without an obvious cause.
Fresh caps during a shock rebuild restore a positive seal and full damping consistency — which is why they're standard rebuild-kit fare alongside O-rings and oil.
