Description
These ARRMA 3x8x8mm balls are precision replacement pivot balls for the suspension and steering linkages on ARRMA vehicles. Pivot balls are the joints the whole linkage system articulates on — every steering input and every suspension cycle rotates a rod end around one of these balls, so their surface finish directly determines how smooth and slop-free the linkage feels.
Each ball is precision manufactured from durable steel and ground to exact 3x8x8mm dimensions, giving rod ends a smooth, consistent articulation surface without binding or free play.
Worn pivot balls announce themselves as slop in the steering or a linkage that rattles — the wear is gradual enough that most drivers don't notice until fresh balls transform how tight the truck feels. Because the parts are cheap and the swap takes seconds during a rebuild, replacing pivot balls alongside rod ends is standard practice.
